Raffaele was found running along a highway in San Antonio, TX. X-rays revealed his pelvis had previously been broken in three places and healed on its own. We adopted him on Dec. 19, 2020 when he was about one year old. He is neutered - OF COURSE! - and is living a safe, full, healthy and happy life in our home. We call him and his adopted mixed-breed brother, Leroy, who is twice his size, "Twins." Raf is a full-figured 13 pounds but has the heart and spirit of a large pit bull. In this picture, Raf had discovered an empty plastic bottle of vodka on our Sunday morning walk, and decided to bring it home for recycling. True story.
