We rescued Greta from a kill shelter not knowing what to expect. The journey wasn't instant. Sher didn't trust easily and who could blame her. She avoided eye contact, stayed close to the walls, and was terrified of the crate. With time, she began to trust us. Her tail started to wag, she rested on my lap, and today she runs and plays and she knows she is loved. She came from a dark place but now she is the sunshine in our day.
