Get ready for The Wave Youth Center’s 2024 Pet Photo Calendar Contest, where your beloved pet can become a shining star! Winners of this contest will be featured on the cover and monthly pages of The Wave Youth Center’s 2024 wall calendar. This contest is open to all pets in Minnesota!

By participating in this photo fundraiser, you not only pay tribute to your extraordinary pet but also contribute to building a brighter future for the youth in our community. The proceeds from the photo contest and calendar sales directly support our mission to create a healthier and stronger community, where every youth can thrive and fulfill their potential.

How to Enter

Submit the most adorable photo of your pet that you can find—or take a new one!
Submit your entry fee of $15.
Tell us why your pet is so special to you! Your story may help you get more votes.

How to Win

Share your pet’s link all over social media with your friends and family or shoot them an email.
Ask them to vote and explain that their votes help make a lasting impact on the lives of young people and build a brighter future for our community.
You have two weeks to get as many votes as possible!

How much is the entry fee?

The entry fee is $15 per photo. All proceeds from contest entries will help us make a lasting impact on the lives of young people and build a brighter future for our community.

How many photos can I enter?

You can enter as many photos in as many categories as you want!

What are the requirements for uploaded photos?

All pets from Minnesota can participate!
All photos become the property of The Wave Youth Center for print and publication purposes.
Photos must be high quality, taken at a resolution of 200-300 DPI with a minimum file size of 4mb (megabytes) in a generally accepted file format (JPEG, TIFF, PNG). If you are using a mobile phone camera, please be sure your photo meets these standards. If your photo is selected as a winner and doesn't meet the quality and size standards, The Wave Youth Center will offer your spot in the calendar to the next runner-up.
Who can appear in your photos?
- Pets? Yes.
- People? Only in the Twinning category!
We cannot accept photos with digital overlays, photo stickers, doodles, or any copyrighted photos.
The Wave Youth Center reserves the right to disqualify an entry based on objectionable content or depiction of the animal in a photo. Fees will not be refunded.

VOTE FOR PHOTOS

How do I vote for a pet’s picture?

Votes are $1 each. Yes, you can vote for your own pet’s photo (and as many times as you, your friends, and family want!).

When does voting begin and end?

Online votes for photo entries begins at 12:00:00 AM (Central Time) on Thursday, June 29, 2023 and end at 11:59:59 PM (Central Time) on Thursday, August 31, 2023*.

*The ending time for the online voting portion will be determined by the host website's server. Keep in mind your clock may differ from the clock that determines the ending time.
