Rules
Mountain Pet Rescue Asheville's Too Cute to Spook contest is open to photos of cats and dogs in appropriate Halloween costumes that were adopted through any rescue organization. Your pet(s) did NOT have to be adopted through Mountain Pet Rescue Asheville to enter the contest.
Photos may contain more than one pet and props can be included, but are not necessary. Please note that any obscene or cruel entries where animals appear uncomfortable or in distress will not be considered, along with any photos taken by professional photographers. If your photo is deemed unacceptable for any reason, any donations and entry fees are non-refundable and become a donation to Mountain Pet Rescue Asheville.
By submitting your photo to the contest, you give permission for Mountain Pet Rescue Asheville to use your submitted photo and/or any information about your cat or dog on their website (MPRAVL.org), social media outlets (Facebook and Instagram) and other marketing publication efforts (print and online). There will be no monetary or other claims against Mountain Pet Rescue Asheville for the use of the photo.
All photo entries must be submitted and all voting will end at 8:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Thursday, October 30, 2025. Winners will be announced 10/31 by 12:00 pm EST.
