I adopted Marco from Wake SPCA when he was one year old. Someone actually didn't want him! He's been a close companion, especially when I moved to Maryland and didn't know anybody. I don't know if I could have lasted those few years there without him. Now we're back home in Raleigh, and he lovingly welcomed his new human mommy when I got married. He's the most gentle, loving dog I've ever met. Especially if you have cheese, but even if you don't.
