A little about this entry...
This dark blue (904) over parchment leather (205) W116 was saved from the original Chicago area owner’s estate after sitting idle for almost 18 years. The acquisition was a year long process due to a single digit VIN error when first registered in 1976. I finally took possession this past April. Fortunately, the estate had had significant mechanical work done to get it operational.

Is it ready for a “long” road trip? No, not yet as I am still sorting through mechanical and cosmetic needs even though it is in good overall condition.

It’s going to be a fun and rewarding project.
