Pet's Story
Magnum was rescued at at shelter in SC. He was starving (under 80 pounds) and injured when found. He spent 3 months in the shelter to recuperate. The day I saw him on PetFinder, I drove from FL to SC to bring him to his FL furever home. He had to learn to be a dog and get out of survival mode. He is now living his best life now riding in boats, cars, golf carts, shopping at Home Depot, and participating in parades. Many people in Florida have not seen an Akita. He is enjoying introducing the breed to many. He is 135 pounds now and afraid of thunder and fireworks... Love of my life!
