Pet's Story
By looking at this little guy you would never guess he is 17. Eeyore has been through a lot in his life from battling liver cancer to an 'undiagnosed' issue that didn't allow him to walk, having a mild heart condition/stroke to recently diagnosed with paracentesis. However, through some of his battles he continues to go strong. He is the light of our lives and everyone who has the opportunity to meet him. You'll certainly have a best friend to follow you around if you have something 'yummy' to eat. It is amazing the bond one can have with their pet. Everyday I feel so fortunate that he chose us to be his family. I remember seeing him at the breeder, his parents had a small litter of '3', 2 girls and him. The girls were already accounted for and there was just something so special about this little guy. At first we weren't sure, do we get a dog they are a huge commitment and once you commitment you do it for life. From the moment I held him and he snuggled under my arm, I was in love. However, I still needed some time to think. I needed to make sure I was making the right decision not only for us but for him. For the next 2-days I called the breeder several times a day seeing if he was still available and he was. By the 3rd day when I called and still no takes I knew at the moment it was fate and he was meant to be ours and apart of our family. I left that same afternoon after hanging up and went to pick him up. To this day he is one of the best decisions we made in life. We promised him the best life possible and hope we have lived up to his expectations. I hope you get some joy out of the picture we shared just as much joy as we get from him on a daily basis.
