Pet's Story
A co-worker of mine got Rissy from a breeder. Unfortunately, after a couple of weeks of having Rissy the co-worker didn't want her anymore and was going to leave her at the pound. I didn't want Rissy to have to go to the pound not knowing her future, so I said I would take her. My brother had a terminal illness and I thought she might also bring some joy into his life, and she did! My brother was never a big animal person, but they fell in love with each other and several times a week she'd go to visit him. He called everyday he wasn't with her to check in on her and it was a good distraction from what he was already going through. Sadly he has since passed. He had given her a big stuffed duck and we call the duck Uncle Pat. Uncle Pat is her favorite stuffed animal and she sleeps with him every night. She was put into our lives at a very difficult time and she was a blessing to my brother in his final year.

Rissy is a character and she does nothing she is told : ( She is a beach bunny and loves to drink from the hose. Anytime we are out on a walk and she sees someone watering their lawn, she insists on getting a drink and will not budge until she does. She has human friends around the neighborhood she loves to visit, mainly because they have treats. Basically, Rissy is a good little kid and I am so glad she came to us when she did.

Pet's Best Personality Trait
When I tell her to sit and attempt to give her a treat she gets so excited she runs off forgetting to take the darn treat, then she comes back and does the same thing again! LOL!
