Pet's Story
Steve and John spent the first years of their lives protecting long horn cattle on a ranch in Texas. When that ranch was sold these two were surrendered to slaughter...Donkey and Equine Haven USA grabbed them up. When my husband and I went to visit to determine if they had a good fit for us, Steve stole our hearts. We found out that he and John were a bonded work pair and we adopted both. We've had them for almost two years now and love to watch them run and play across the pasture and yell out to us for carrots. With these two around there are no ranch chores that go unmonitored and 'assisted'.
