Pet's Story
Koda joined our family this past August as a young puppy, with the hope that he would someday become a therapy dog. My mom is a registered nurse and has always had a passion for caring for others. After losing her husband, she found that Koda brought a new sense of purpose and healing into her life.

Because of the comfort he naturally brings to people, Koda has inspired her to give back in a new way, together. He is now on track to begin training toward his American Kennel Club Therapy Dog certification, with the goal of visiting hospitals and bringing joy, connection, and calm to patients and families who need it most.

Koda has already made a difference in our home, and we can’t wait for him to share that same light with others.
