Pet's Story
Rudy was hit by a car at approximately 3 months old. He came to me for rehabilitation in hopes to be returned to the wild when old enough. Initially he was in a coma, but after a few weeks he awakened. Unfortunately, we discovered he sustained permanent neurological damage and is no longer able to walk. He can move his limbs and manages to crawl. He quickly captured my heart and we have a special bond. He is now a USDA permitted educational animal ambassador helping to teach the public the importance of wildlife and conservation through educational programs and public events on behalf of the non-profit wildlife rehabilitation group for which i am a volunteer rehabilitator. He captures everyone's heart not only with his loving nature but his determination and strength as well! He is living his best life filled with love and purpose!
