The contest entry fee is $5 per photo for a single pet.

You are welcome to make an additional donation during the entry process, with each dollar counting as one vote.

All proceeds from contest entries and votes will help Until They’re home provide the resources they need to help take care of their fosters waiting to be re-homed.

There will be three separate owners who will win the contest. You can enter as many pets as you wish but they must be together on one photo.

Votes are $1 each and non-refundable, however, all votes are tax-deductible.

You can also vote for your own pet's photo as many times as you and your friends and family wish!

The top three votes will be selected as our Cutest Pet Models.

At the end of each week, a raffle will be held for the chance to win a mystery prize with food from Wagz to take home. A new winner will be selected each week based on the amount of votes that come in.

Voting closes at 10:00:00 PM (Mountain Time) on Monday, June 2, 2025. Remember that your clock may differ slightly from the clock that determines the official end time, so we recommend submitting your final votes with at least 5-10 minutes to spare.
 

The winners be announced via email. You can also regularly check the leaderboards to see your pet’s vote tally.

Lauren with Lo’s Lens will reach out to the winners to schedule a session between June 4th-14th. If you are unable to commit to a photo session during those days or find yourself unable to travel to the pre-selected locations, you forfeit your winning and the next top vote-getter will take your pet’s spot on the wall, no exceptions.

• The Submissions Period starts at 8:00:00 AM (Mountain Time) on Sunday, May 4, 2025 and ends at 9:00:00 PM (Mountain Time) on Friday, May 30, 2025.
• Contest entry fees are tax deductible. The email acknowledgment to your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
• Any photograph that includes content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent, or obscene, as determined by Lo’s Lens in its sole discretion, will be removed from the contest with no opportunity for a refund.
• Posting more than one photo of your pet does not increase the chances of winning. The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 3 entries that receive the most votes. The same pet can only win once. Attempts to win two spots on the wall by the same pet(s)/owner will not be permitted.

• The top vote-getters will win a professional on-location photo session by Lo’s Lens at a pre-selected location in the NOCO area during between June 4th-14th. For smaller animals like indoor cats we will do inside your home but it must be located within the NOCO region.
• If you are unable to commit to a photo session during those times or find yourself unable to travel to these pre-selected locations, you forfeit your winning and the next top vote-getter will take your pet's spot in the wall, no exceptions.
• The photographer, Lo Lens, will choose the best image of the pets to be hung on the wall.
  
  

• The pet receiving the highest number of new votes each week over the course of the month-long contest will win a mini-contest prize from Wagz Pet Market and Grooming.
• Each pet may only win a weekly mini-contest once.
• In the event of a tie, a random computerized draw will be held between the highest vote getters of the week to determine that week's winner.
• In the event that there are no new votes for that week, a random computerized draw will be held for all eligible pets.
• Certain individual business restrictions and limitations may apply from Wagz Pet Market and Grooming. Lo’s Lens is not responsible for these restrictions and eligibility requirements as determined by their business.
• Mini-Contest winners will be announced every Saturday.
  
  

• By submitting a photo entry, you warrant and represent that your entry is your own original work created by you and that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your entry materials. If you submit an entry that is copyrighted by another individual, you are responsible for any legal action the copyright holder takes against you.
• The displayed photos will be presented through a special event at the Wagz Pet Market and Grooming.
• By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Until They’re Home, Wagz Pet Market and Grooming, Lo’s Lens and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.

Here at UTH, we have a special affinity for those pets who are struggling in the shelter and recognize that shelters with limited resources often have very few options for those individuals. It’s often common that shelters/rescues make people needing to rehome their animals feel judged for doing so, but we recognize that there are many understandable reasons why you may need to rehome an animal.

Until They’re Home exists to fill this gap and provide a bridge of hope for shelters, families, and our community in uncertain times.

UTH has built services to help provide families with more options during stressful times so that they aren't forced to surrender their beloved pet to the local shelter.

Additionally, very few of the hundreds of animal rescues in Colorado actually take animals from their local open-admission shelter, so we passionately support local organizations that share our same vision and values.

Our first priority at UTH is to offer solutions before an animal is surrendered to the shelter. We also assist local shelters by transferring in pets struggling in that stressful environment into our foster network.

We are dedicated to solving the homeless pet population in Colorado before focusing our energy on other parts of the country. Why? We focus our mission on Colorado homeless animals and families in need until Colorado shelters no longer have to euthanize for space.

How do we do this?
