We adopted Nike from the Delta Animal Shelter in April after he had been at the shelter for 2 months. We were new to gerbils, and spent many hours researching. We were able to upgrade his home and give him everything a gerbil could want. He has been a great addition to our family! He’s funny and very interactive. He loves getting his picture taken and it was hard to choose just one! This one captures him shortly after we got him. He had just moved into his large new home with all kinds of houses, hideouts and toys. He was so excited, but stopped to just stare at us watching him. For someone so small, he makes a huge impact and we could not love him more! ❤️🥔
