Your Pet's Story or Bio
Bear is a rescue dog from the Lower Peninsula before we moved back to our beloved UP. He was a shelter puppy, being in the shelter half of his one year of life before we adopted him. Bear is adorable with an estimated mix of Border Collie, Pittie, and Rottie in him. He's also crazy and adventurous, going on hikes, swimming, and kayaking with us, almost daily! Bear is super friendly with all people and dogs, so he loves going to dog parks where he can run off his energy with playmates.
Why support UPAWS and why vote for my pet!
We support every shelter and rescue, and we encourage others to do the same! Moving back to the Upper Peninsula has us supporting all the UP rescues and the big UPAWS. We plan to get Bear a sibling soon and UPAWS is on our list to look at dogs from! Every dog deserves a family and a soft bed, so why not provide one to a dog who still needs to know what that's like? Bear has an incredible temperament to represent young-adult rescue dogs, being so friendly and happy.
