Everyone meet Rufus! He’s a 2 year old treeing walker hound with a very fun loving personality. I’ve always wanted a hound dog and when Rufus became available for adoption at UPAWS we decided we just had to have him. He is so so sweet and loves to cuddle with anyone and everyone! He’s a super fun dog to be around and loves to play with just about anything! Although sometimes his nose can get him into trouble when it comes to keeping animals out of our yard. He’s become best friends with our ducks and chickens and makes sure they’re all in the coop at the end of the night. He Loves to sunbathe as well as neck scratches and ear rubs!

UPAWS is such an amazing place to work with. The staff members make sure everything runs smoothly and are always in such a positive spirit. They’re one of the only shelters I’ve seen that have more then just dogs and cats. You can really tell how much they love being around animals and finding the perfect home. I think you should vote for Rufus because he’s the sweetest fun loving dog and added bonus we adopted him from UPAWS a little less then a year ago!
