Election season is upon us and the Verrado Community is looking to elect their next Dog Mayor of Verrado! This prestigious position will be a two-year term. The race is on, tell us why your dog should be elected!

"Being Dog Mayor of Verrado has been a great experience.  Meeting and interacting  with so many kids and other dogs as part of the job has been rewarding  and of course, helping the Community  Paws team raise money for the work they do.  My brother Davis and I are looking forward to the upcoming election to see who the next Dog Mayor will be."

• The winner of the contest will be given the title of Dog Mayor of Verrado.
• The winner will be presented with a certificate by a Verrado VIP and will be officially named as the Dog Mayor of Verrado for a two-year term.
• The winner will receive a personalized Legacy Brick at the Verrado Dog park with the name and title of the Dog Mayor of Verrado.
• The winner and runner(s) up will receive a goodie bag full of dog treats.
• All contest entrants will receive a participation bag.

Community Paws is a foster-based rescue located in the Verrado community of Buckeye, AZ. We have been a registered nonprofit organization since 2014 and continue to grow our organization each year through the help of our wonderful foster families and volunteers. So far we have rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed hundreds of pets in our community. Since 2019 we have developed a partnership with Chewy.com to help redistribute pet food deemed unacceptable for resale to animal rescues and charities in need. To date we have provided hundreds of thousands, if not millions of pounds of pet food, one bag at a time.
