VetPets of Southwestern Pennsylvania is a family-owned, veteran-operated nonprofit organization dedicated to helping returning heroes find emotional support, hands-on therapy dog programs, and hands-on service dog programs. Our mission is to provide a platform for meaningful fundraising that can make a real difference in the lives of our heroes. We invite you to join us as we raise funds to help our heroes heal.
Mission
At VetPets of Southwestern Pennsylvania, we are dedicated to helping heroes heal through therapy dogs, service dogs and faith-based wellness groups. Our mission is to reduce the rate of suicide, and we believe the healing power of dogs is a great way to do it. We provide dog training assistance, mental health activities and support to those in need. Our volunteers are some of the best in the country and are committed to providing a safe, nonjudgmental and cooperative environment for everyone.
Vision
VetPets of Southwestern Pennsylvania is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing therapy dogs and service dogs to our veterans and first responders in need. We believe in the power of the human-animal bond and proudly support those in our community who have served selflessly. Our mission is to reduce the rate of suicide in all areas we operate in, and to improve communication for family members that have stayed silent about the invisible wounds of war and workplace trauma. Your support helps those that have been on waiting lists start the recovery process in a new, whole-health kind of way.
