Three years ago, this dear boy was at VHS. We visited to socialize animals with no intention of adopting a pet. In order to keep an emotional distance from the dogs, we called one of them "1" and the other "2" while playing with them. Two days later, Dos was on the flight with us back to DC. He has become a cherished member of the family.
