Your Pet's Story or Bio
Jama (front and center) was found in the garbage as a puppy with her six siblings back in 2015. Some friends were fostering her and her brother when we decided to adopt her.

She-Ra (right) was a street dog on the Malecón and was injured when she was bitten by another dog. A friend took her home so she would have a safe place to recover, and we adopted her shortly after that, in 2016.

Perla (left) was surrendered to VHS in 2021. Her face is paralyzed, giving her a permanent silly grin. No doubt she got into something as a mischievous puppy!

These girls have brought us many smiles over the years, and we are so appreciative of VHS and all they do for the island's animals!
