We were contacted by a local Doberman rescue 14 days after we lost our Jake, which was 48 days after we lost our Bri. (2 in 48 days). They wanted to know if we would foster Jigger. We didn't think we were ready but after a week we adopted him. He didn't replace them but helped mend our shattered hearts.
