Ellie joined my family on whim and turned out to be the best split second decision I have ever made. She loves everyone she meets, she commands attention. She has been amazing with all of the foster puppies I bring home showing them love and how to dog! She brings the shy ones out and helps build their confidence, she provides endless hours of play, and helps prepare them all for the next chapter of their lives. Ellie is protector all of animals at my home, large and small. She always has a smile on her face and is looking to get into mischief. Ellie provides endless kisses and snuggles, her presence creates so much warmth and love it’s impossible to have a bad day with her around. She is a wonderful ambassador for the breed, balancing the stubborn, independence Elkhounds are known for with the nurturing, guardian they also need to be. Ellie is a once in a lifetime dog.
