Pet's Story or BioOn a frigid night in March 2020 as a few shelter volunteers were finishing their walking shifts, a couple brought a kitten in distress up to them for help. It was after hours at the shelter but they graciously took the kitten in, got him set up with a warm bed, food and water.
This young boy had a recent wounded back leg, half was missing.
The next day RAS vet team got to work on him. He needed amputation surgery and then a foster to heal.
Pivot came home with me and has never left.
His handicap has never stopped him from scaling a 6 foot cat tree, head butting a 100 pound dog and being a nanny to many foster kittens.
He’s best known for being obnoxiously affectionate. Demanding pets while drooling and always having to have a paw touching me and most of the times it’s my face.
❤️ What a great show of appreciation to RAS volunteers , vet staff and to honor Pivots upcoming 6th Gotcha Day than to vote for him.
With purrs, headbutts and kitty drool Pivot thanks you!
