Stella is a proud Rochester Animal Services and VSAS alum with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and a newfound love for life that’s impossible to miss. Adopted in October, her journey wasn’t a straight line. She was returned just 24 hours after her first adoption, but that detour brought her exactly where she was meant to be.

Formerly known as Wendy, Stella got her groove back and is now thriving. Loving, sweet, and full of personality, she’s a true cuddle bug who insists on being included in every adventure and isn’t shy about voicing her opinions if something doesn’t meet her standards. With her floppy ears and joyful bounce, Stella is impossible to ignore, especially when the zoomies hit and she’s determined to recruit her sister for playtime. She also takes her role as yard protector seriously, keeping a close eye on squirrels and soaking up every minute she can outside.

Smart, curious, and eager to please, Stella is a daily morale booster who plays hard, loves harder, and is a daily reminder of just how much better life can be with a rescue dog.
