Tyke came to Verona Street Animal Society as an abandoned stray about 6 and a half years ago. One day I came into the shelter interested in adopting a puppy. I was obsessed with his brindle color and big puppy ears as soon as I saw him. Lucky for me, he had just become available to the public that same day I came in, so I got to be first on his wait list! Fate is real!!
Tyke has helped me most by making me stay grounded and responsible for another being.
Tyke was diagnosed with early onset arthritis a year ago-he goes to physical therapy to help alleviate any joint pain. Everyone says I spend way too much on him. See the attached video of him trotting in the water treadmill!!
