Meet Zucchini, an 11-year-old American Bully who proves every day that miracles don’t just happen — they wag their tails.

Our journey began at the veterinary hospital where I worked. Zucchini arrived in critical condition, suffering from sepsis and facing euthanasia. I couldn't let her story end there. I chose to bring her home, and in return, she became the absolute love of my life.

Zucchini’s life hasn’t been easy, but she is a fighter through and through. Most recently, she faced the daunting challenge of two brain tumors, undergoing radiation treatment with her trademark bravery. She has been worth every stressful day, every sleepless night, and every single penny. To know her is to understand that some souls are simply too precious to give up on.

When she isn't busy being a medical marvel, Zucchini is a social butterfly — at least where humans are concerned! She has never met a person she didn’t love. At home, she is the gentle protector of her four kitty siblings. While she’s "dog selective," she has a soft spot for senior males and little dogs who have the decency to ignore her.

Zucchini is more than just a pet; she is a testament to the power of a second chance. She’s my brave, sweet girl, and we are so proud to share her story.
