In partnership with C. Eaton Photography, the Verde Valley Sanctuary is happy to announce its Pet Calendar Contest for 2026. Proceeds from the calendar sales and photo contest will assist the Verde Valley Sanctuary to support survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
We encourage you to submit a favorite photo of your pets, then ask your family, friends, and co-workers to vote for them! Please review the contest rules carefully for submission guidelines; those who do not follow these rules will not be eligible to win. Fees for photo entries and votes will help the Verde Valley Sanctuary support women in need and their pets!
Prizes
The photo contest winners are the top 13 entrants in each catagory that get the most votes.Grand Prize:
- The top winner in each category will win the coveted cover photo for the 2026 calendar and 1 free Calendar!
2nd - 13th place winners
- 2nd - 13th place winners in each category will have their pet featured as a pet of the month. And receive a free calendar (winners can select their month by donating an extra $100)
The top 13 vote-getters in each category will have their pet professionally photographed by Capturing EveryBuddy by C. Eaton Photography, LLC, for the 2026 calendar.
Reserve a Special Spot In The Calendar For Your Pet:
- Honor your pet or celebrate a gotcha day or birthday by reserving an empty date.
- Choose a favorite photo, a month, and a day, and pay.
- Each month has a limited number of squares and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis; don't delay!
- Each grid space is just $25.
