Grand Prizes:
- The photo contest winners are the top 13 entrants in each category that get the most votes.
- The top winner will win the coveted cover photo for the 2026 calendar,, and a free calendar.
- 2nd - 13th place winners will have their pet featured as a pet of the month and receive one free calendar. These winners may choose their months by donating an extra $100 to The Verde Valley Sanctuary after the winners are announced. Month choice will be allowed on a first-come basis.
- Entries featuring two pets will share a month if they place among the top 13 vote-getters.
- If multiple pets were entered separately, only the winning entry will be featured in the calendar.
- The top 13 vote-getters will have their pet professionally photographed by Capturing EveryBuddy by C. Eaton Photography, LLC for the 2026 calendar. Photoshoots will be held outdoors in the Verde Valley area between May 23rd and May 31 2025.
- All winners will have the option to have a full portrait session with the opportunity to purchase products and images following their session if desired.
- If your pet is a cat and cannot be photographed by the photographer C. Eaton Photography, the image that you entered in the contest will be used in the calendar
*****If your pet is one of the 13 to be photographed for the calendar, you must be able to bring your pet to an on location photoshoot between may 3rd and 31st 2025. If you cannot commit to a photo session during those times or find yourself unable to travel to the pre-selected locations; in that case, you forfeit your winning, and the next top vote-getter will take your pet's spot in the calendar, with no exceptions.*****
Weekly Mini-Contest Prizes:
One pet in each catagory each week who receives the highest number of new votes for that week will win the weekly mini-contest. The winner will receive the vote multiplier that corresponds to the week. For example, if the winner receives 100 new votes during the week as listed below and the week's multiplier is 2x, they will receive an extra 100 votes to count as 200 votes for that week.
- Week 1 March 29 - Apr 4th: 1.5x votes
- Week 2 Apr 5 - Apr 11: 2x votes
- Week 3 Apr 12 - Apr 18: 3x votes
- Week 4 Apr 19 - Apr 30: 4x votes
