Marley Meadows Animal Sanctuary | Leesburg, New Jersey | Est. 2017
Marley Meadows believes that veganism is a moral & ethical decision that each individual human has the ability to safely transition to without fear of physical or emotional damage. They do not believe humans should harm any animal or sentient being and that is our responsibility as part of this earth's ecosystem and family to take care of each other and bring positive change for a more welcoming tomorrow. Together, they feel we can make a difference and try to undo some of the damage already done. Run by a passionate family of 5-all animal activists and advocates, who have overcome so much together and have built this rescue from the ground up, Marley Meadows is a safe haven for animals abused by the farming industry, neglected by careless owners, or abandoned and left to die.

New Jersey's Freedom Farm Animal Rescue | Cedarville, New Jersey | Est. 2016
Not too long after starting, Freedom Farm quickly saw that there was a tremendous need for better care and more compassion in the world of farmed animals. Wanting to play a major role in this, with a mission to provide food, shelter and veterinary care in a safe, secure and healthy environment for abused, abandoned or otherwise homeless farm animals, they have been rescuing as many farm animals in need as they can. After having their eyes opened wide upon seeing their first livestock auction filled with thousands of goats, they decided that it would also become their mission to educate the public on the atrocities committed on these innocent souls and tell their stories to the public so their voices can be heard.

Tails of the West Donkey Rescue | Gig Harbor, Washington | Est. 2019
Originally starting off rescuing all farm animals, in 2019, Tails of the West decided to transition to rescuing mainly domestic and wild donkeys and burros. There is such a great need for sanctuary for these beautiful animals, as more and more donkeys, burros and wild mustangs are rounded up and shipped out, mainly to slaughter. Their mission was further refined as they become advocates for these animals, educating the public of their plight and providing loving sanctuary to so many in need. They seek other like minded people to offer safe haven, as well, offering adoptions to appropriate homes

Tamerlaine Sanctuary and Preserve | Montague, New Jersey | Est. 2013
Tamerlaine is a paradise for previously neglected and abused farmed animals from our food system. Over 200 animals call Tamerlaine home, all with their own unique personality and personal history, including animals rescued from factory farms, ritual sacrifices, urban slaughterhouses, and found abandoned, wandering the streets of New York City. They provide a loving home and an individualized approach to the long term care of each of their animal residents. They have a four part mission of caring for abused and neglected farmed animals; conserving their land; educating about animal protection and environmental ethics; and advocating for a compassionate society.

The Barnyard Sanctuary | Columbia, New Jersey | Est. 2010
The Barnyard is currently home to approximately 400 horses, donkeys, mules, cows, sheep, goats, llamas, alpacas, emus, water buffalo, pot bellies, farm pigs, and a variety of many types of birds. They are actively seeking to move to a new forever farm, where they can expand their services, be self sufficient and offer a wide array of programs to the public. They have plans for summer training for college interns, a hydroponic vertical organic (vegan) greenhouse employing US veterans, a displaced housewives program and more. Their sanctuary will be managed in tune with nature, living in peace and harmony with the land's fellow species.
