These USA animal sanctuaries (the "Sanctuaries") are holding their first ever joint online photo contest, to raise funds for very specific causes near and dear to them. In times like these, with the pandemic taking a heavy toll on our abilities to hold in-person fundraisers, it is more inportant than ever for this fundraiser to be a success for us. The proceeds will be split equally between the sanctuaries. You can read all about the individual sanctuaries on the About page.


We hope you are as excited as we are about this contest, and we wish each one of you who is submitting a photo the best of luck in winning some great prizes. We picked Wacky Whiskers as the theme, so that we would be able to include every (non-human) species of animals. The only requirement is that they have one of those adorable, wacky, zany looking faces that expresses happiness or goofiness. You can read the photo Rules here.


We have decided to not only have the traditional pet photo calendar as the prize, but to add some great money prizes (first prize is $1,000!) and special recognitions (winning photos featured on our social media of over 280,000 followers), as well. There will be 7 winners!! You can read all about it on the Prizes page.


Even if you are not submitting a photo for voting, you can still be in the calendar!! Just pick your special date and submit a photo to be printed in the calendar for that date. Reserve a Date- it can't be any simpler! It can be a picture of your pet, your child, yourself, a friend or significant other- on a birthdate, anniversary, in memory of, or anything special to you. Imagine your friends'/family members' surprise when you gift them a calendar that has their picture on their birthday or anniversary. Put your entire family in there and buy a calendar for each of them! Never forget a family member's birthday all year. You could even give that special someone in your life a calendar that has multiple pictures for the first kiss, the first date, moving in together, anniversaries, birthdays, etc. Be creative!


We suggest you pre-order several of the incredible calendars we are creating right now, as they will ONLY be available for ordering until November 22 8pm EST. Then, as soon as they are printed, they can be mailed right to you. These would make great birthday or Holiday gifts for family and friends, especially if you customized the calendar with our unique Reserve a Date feature!


We hope that each and every one of you will SHARE our contest with all your family and friends and encourage them to support you (if you have entered a photo) and us (this is our big fundraiser) in our endeavors.
