Pet's Story or Bio
Walker was found by some good samaritans in the woods in Louisiana. He had been dumped there to fend for himself. He was just over a year old; had a chemical burn on his head and heartworms. This sweet boy was so scared of the world but so happy to be around other dogs and eager to please.
Walker is a puppy at heart, maybe because he didn’t get to be a puppy when he was one. He is sweet, sensitive and silly. He loves attention and food and will woo (sing the song of his people) to get them. Walker discovered his love for the outdoors when we moved to Washington. He loves swimming, running and hiking and has never met a hiker’s lunch he didn’t love. 😂 Walker has a very gentle nature and loves humans of all sizes, as well as dogs of all sizes. This has made him the perfect WAMAL ambassadog. He loves all of the attention he gets while promoting rescue. This boy is a unicorn amongst his breed and I am so thankful he came into my life.
