About the Contest

Photos can be submitted April 15, 2021, at 12:00 P.M. EST through October 1, 2021, at 8:00 P.M. EST.
The donation amount required to submit a photo into the contest is $15.00. Entries are unlimited.
Each vote is $1.00. Votes are unlimited. You will be able to share your photo with friends and family (and strangers, too, if you'd like) to allow them to vote.
The top 22 photos at the close of the contest will win a spot in our 2022 calendar. The top photo will be featured on the calendar's cover!
Want to guarantee your pet's photo makes it in the calendar? You can reserve a calendar day for a one-time-donation of $25 and your pet's photo will be included there! Calendar day reservations do not require an additional $15 submission donation; all photos submitted for calendar day reservations are not eligible to be voted on or for contest prizes.
Pre-order your calendar for $15 on the website. Calendars will begin shipping by no later than mid-November.

Photo Eligibility

Photos of companion animals (no wild animals or photos including people please) may be entered. Since we love all animals, the contest is not restricted to cats and dogs, nor is it restricted to animals adopted from Wood County Humane Society. All animal lovers can join in the fun.
Multiple animals can be in a single photo.
Please be sure to submit a clear photo. If you are a winner and your photo does not meet resolution standards necessary for print, then we will ask you to submit another photo of your pet.
Black and white photos are acceptable.
If your photo was taken by a professional or commercial photographer, you must send a signed copyright release to wchsfundraiser@gmail.com.
All animals must be depicted in a humane manner. Any photo deemed inappropriate by Wood County Humane Society will be removed without reimbursement of the entry fee.

Additional Information

All photos submitted become the property of Wood County Humane Society and may be used and/or altered for the 2020 calendar or for other promotional and/or fundraising efforts relating to the calendar contest.
If a winning photo is deemed inappropriate by Wood County Humane Society, then Wood County Humane Society reserves the right to replace the photo with another eligible photo to be included in the calendar.
Wood County Humane Society reserves the right to alter contest rules as necessary.
