Pet's Story or Bio
Cork came to us in 2006 as a very young stray. We took her in as a shop cat and immediately fell in love. She quickly became the most spoiled outdoor cat in Ohio. She began receiving regular meals of tuna or her favorite Fancy Feast wet food. She was also given her own house in the barn, furnished with quilts, a fleece heating blanket and her own little pillow. For over 10 years she was free to come and go as she pleased, regularly found sleeping in our flower garden, chasing bugs or following us all around the shop as we worked on projects. She is also a local celebrity as an Instagram sensation. You can find Cork featured on the Official Ford Instagram page, photographed cat napping under our Ford pickup truck with over 23,000 likes to date!

Spending her entire life outdoors, she is fierce, independent and very intelligent. She has a rough and tough fearless attitude but a cuddly tender side that she loves to hide. Around 9 years old, we started bringing her in during our harsh Ohio winters. Now at age 13, she has adopted the comfortable life as a full time indoor senior kitty. She enjoys the comfortable stress free life of hourly cat naps, consistent cuddles and an endless supply of treats.
