Is your pet a star of the Quiet Corner? Westfield Church wants to see your pet to show off their purfect pouts, majestic manes and terrific tails! Our Stay, Sit, SNAP Pet Photo Contest is your chance to show off your pet while supporting our continued efforts to help our community here in the Quiet Corner.
Currently, we are working to expand the assistance that we are able to provide to the local unhoused population. We currently are able to keep a well stocked inventory of toiletry supplies, some non-perishable food, tarps and backpacks. We also provide 1 to 2 free dinners per month. We want to keep this going, and expand to doing/providing more - like laundry facilities, showers, haircuts, job fairs!
We think BIG at Westfield and we LOVE all of God's creatures - so let's show them off while taking care of our community! Starting August 18th through September 14th, you can submit your favorite photo and encourage your community to vote (voting ends September 19th). Each entry and vote helps support our promise to take care of each other and our neighbors.

About Us
Westfield Church is a United Church of Christ congregation founded in 1715, that is welcoming to all people — no matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey. We pride ourselves on being a church that is friendly and we seek to welcome all people into our family. We gather for the worship of God every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. and childcare is provided. Our worship is energetic, faithful, and fun. Our sermons seek to relate the Bible to real, everyday issues, that people are struggling with. And we always welcome children.
The people of Westfield are kind-hearted, friendly, and faithful people. are called to do God’s work in the community at large. We believe in caring for the heart of Killingly. That looks a lot of different ways–
Descending from the first congregation in Killingly, it’s in our DNA as a community of faith. And while many congregations do remarkable global mission work, we find our passion lies here in our community.
We provide space for a number of community groups to meet as well as support for their programming. We’ve also spearheaded financial support for community efforts. Members of our church, as well as our pastor, take the lead in community events from Trick or Treat on Main St. to the Springtime Festival and everything in between! We have a medical supply exchange program so that when someone unexpectedly finds themselves in need of a wheelchair, crutches, etc., they can come to us and avoid taking on that extra expense. We take care of our unhoused population by having an ongoing supply of toiletries, backpacks, tarps, feminine hygiene products and more.
We do A LOT but, we want to do MORE! And we will be able to, with your support!
