Phoebe is a Dallas streetcat of unknown origin. Adopted as a sickly juvenile permakitten, she seemed a quiet lap cat. NOPE!!! Recovery revealed a lunatic who wants to be involved all the time. Like, too much. Dare I say it? She’s kind of dog-like…

She’s a tortoiseshell tabby missing part of one ear. With her short “arms” and pin-head, she cuts a unique silhouette. She runs toward noise, jumps through my treasured possessions, and looks me in the eye as she claws my leg wanting MORE attention. Hours are spent on grooming, yet she’s always dirty - she just spreads it around her body. Much like the eye of Jupiter - a constantly moving storm (of dirt).  When wind leaves her body, it sounds disturbingly human - both ends.

Is she Mayorial material? Probably not. Then again, nowadays, qualifications are unnecessary for holding public office. Vote for “The Phebe”!!!
