Why I Fly
I fly for work, fun, physical, spiritual, humanitarian, and philanthropic purposes. All my activities in life start with my passion for aviation which is the reason that aviation is my “Why”. In my industry I have been given the nickname of "The Flying Architect” because I have been able to combine my passion of aviation with my profession as an architect. However, of all my aviation activities, giving back is what brings me most satisfaction, which includes transporting doctors and medical supplies to underprivileged areas, to flying puppies to a destination for adoption. My reward is returning with a heart full of joy after seeing the results.
What organization(s) do you fly for?
LIGA Flying Doctors of Mercy, Angel Flight, Pilots N Paws, Flying Samaritans
What would you tell a pilot thinking about volunteering?
Flying for humanitarian purposes is the type of flying whose rewards are eternal.
