Why I Fly
I fly because it is a deep-down passion that I truly love, something very magical about it... then add to that, the feeling you get in helping others while doing something you love just makes volunteer flying so rewarding. I truly believe that we receive so much more than what we give. It for sure makes you realize what the most important things are in life. And though we may only be in our patients lives for a brief period, we can take that time to make their flight enjoyable, maybe for a moment, taking their minds off of what they may be dealing with. This is why I fly!

What would you tell a pilot thinking about volunteering?
Having the opportunity to help someone while doing something you love is absolutely an amazing feeling. The rewards you will get in return (BIG HUGS AND BIG SMILES) will be priceless.
