Why I Fly
Flying gives me the freedom to see the world from a much different perspective. I have the opportunity to help others with my airplane in ways few others can. I fly because I believe that what I do can and does have a positive impact on individuals, families and communities.
What organization(s) do you fly for?
White Feather Flights, Flights for Life, Angel Flight West, PilotsNPaws
What would you tell a pilot thinking about volunteering?
As President of Air Care Alliance, I strongly encourage any pilot to use their skills and airplanes to help those in need. If you don’t know how to start, simply go to the ACA website (AirCareAlliance.org) to guide you to Volunteer Pilot Organizations (VPOs) that align with your interests. If you are aware of a VPO, use our directory to connect with them to learn more about their mission. Ask to fly along on a flight to learn more about what they do and how you can help them as a valued volunteer pilot.
