Why I Fly
In January 2020, the Yurok Indian Tribe living on the Klamath River in Northern California was getting hit hard by COVID. I flew a relief flight transporting donated hand sanitizer, N95 masks, and other COVID supplies from Direct Relief in Santa Barbara to Crescent City, the closest IFR airport to their location. I was so proud to be a part of this volunteer airlift.
