L’ouïe came to us as a Foster from a rescue in Toronto
He was a year old and had already been in 2 different homes
When he came to us he was emanciated covered in sores and wearing diapers for diarrhea
His eyes seem to lack luster and it was evident he didn’t trust enough to lay down and rest; instead he stood and dozed
With the care of a wonderful Vet team he slowly over came his physical problems
Eventually he learned to trust and we became inseparable
That’s when we knew we would foster fail and adopt him
There is a real sense gratitude that rescue animals seem to have
If I could say one thing over and over it would be adopt don’t shop
Everyone should have a Louie in their life
