Tell us a bit about your pet, what their story is & how they have changed your life for the better!
Sapphire, a fellow Ravenclaw, is a KHS alumni. I adopted her in 2014 after moving back to Wichita to complete my masters degree.
She has helped me through so many challenging situations and is currently helping me through my doctoral program. Her initiation and healing powers make her the perfect study partner and therapy cat.
Her contribution to my academic career/research has earned her honorary degrees in addition to her qualifications as a therapy cat.
Sapphi is sweet, sassy, selfless, (unless food is involved) loving, and loyal. She loves to “help” me with my homework, sun herself on the balcony, and eat boiled chicken.
Sapphire was my first experience of what cat mom life is like. Almost ten years later, I have no idea what we would do without her.
Thank you for all that you do KHS, without you, stories like these wouldn’t exist.
