Tell us a bit about your pet, what their story is & how they have changed your life for the better!
We adopted Richard, aka Merle, from KHS August 27, 2022. In the last year, he has brought so many laughs and snuggles to our family. He has taught us all to be more patient and understanding as he is partially deaf. He has helped me with continued learning in my ASL as we primarily use ASL and doggy hand commands to communicate. He is the sweetest boy ever. He knows when you're down and comforts you. He loves to cuddle and be a 50lb lap dog. He also has a super ornery and playful side that keeps you on your toes. Loves his ropes and stuffies and playing fetch with himself. He loves all animals and tries to mother them. He is the ultimate Velcro dog but we're working through his separation anxiety together and he's slowly getting better.
