Tell us a bit about your pet, what their story is & how they have changed your life for the better!
After relocating to Wichita from San Diego, CA, I found myself being extremely home sick. Three weeks into my relocation, I realized I needed a companion to help me adapt to my new home city/state. I adopted Ollie at just 10 weeks old from a rescue in Madison, KS. It was love at first sight! Ollie was a bit of a hot mess when I adopted him. He had kennel cough and a staph infection on his front left leg that had him in a cone collar for upwards of 6 weeks, but his will to keep finding the joys in the little things like sticks on walks or squirrels in trees helped me to see the light in what was a major life decision for me, leaving all I knew for a fresh start. Ollie truly saved me and has been by my side ever since!!
