Bruno has changed my life in the most meaningful ways since I adopted him from the Kansas Humane Society back in March. As my first dog as a young adult, he came into my life at the exact right time, just as I’m preparing to begin my first teaching job this fall. Bruno has taught me how to maintain a healthy work-life balance—he makes sure I step away from the lesson planning, take walks, and give him the love and attention he deserves. In doing so, he reminds me to care for myself, too. His loyalty, playfulness, and unconditional love have brought me peace and stability in a season of transition. Bruno grounds me in the present, showing me the joy of simple moments, whether it’s a walk outside or quiet time together at home. He isn’t just my dog; he’s my partner in this new chapter of life! ❤️
