Tell us a bit about your pet, what their story is & how they have changed your life for the better!
This beautiful boy is Henry. I adopted him last year, a few months after losing my beloved 20-year-old cat. While he didn’t come from KHS, he is a Humane Society rescue from Caring Hands in Newton. I originally stopped in to see another kitten, who wasn’t there, but then I met Henry. It felt like he knew he was supposed to be with me before I did. He kept climbing up my leg, insisting on being held, and in doing so, quickly made his way into my heart. Since then, Henry has filled my days with laughter, comfort, and love, helping heal the grief of loss and reminding me how much joy a pet can bring—and how every rescue truly changes two lives. 💓
