Meow. My name is Asbury and I was found on the streets of New York City 12 years ago, pregnant, sick and hungry. The ASPCA rescued me and found me the best foster mom, who gave me a safe place to give birth and raise my kittens. She couldn't resist my quirky confidence though and became my forever servant! She and my Navy dad have shown me the country - taking me to San Diego, Memphis, Alexandria, Virginia Beach and parts in between. When we lived in Alexandria, I remember sharing my home with lots of AWLA foster cats and kittens. Toothless Mick, Momma Mia's "pizza" kittens and many others all eventually found their forever homes! These days, I spend my time sleeping in the sun, chasing my little sister Junior and making my people laugh every day. I've been so very lucky and am glad AWLA helps other animals like me all the time. Now, um, may I have a treat please?
