To help your pet win more votes, we will be offering a variety of fun challenges and engagement events throughout the month of June. Check out our current schedule of challenges, and stay tuned for more information about how to help your pet soar to the top of the leaderboard!
Please note that challenges will be run across a variety of media, including social media and the calendar website itself. You are not obligated to participate in any challenges but we will make every effort to reach our broadest audience of participants by hosting challenges across multiple media platforms.

We’re so excited to see your work-from-home helpers that we are offering an extra bonus: The first 15 registrants will get 50 additional votes, so sign up early to help your pet start as a leader of the pack! Work Hard, Play Hard Challenge
Whether your pet is hard at work or just as hard at play, we want to see it. Share your favorite photo or video of your pet in a comment on our Facebook post or tweet that kicks off the challenge beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, OR post it on your own Instagram account. The five photos/videos with the most likes by 8 p.m. on June 7 will be awarded extra votes. Make sure you tag #alexworkfromhome so we can follow your likes; if we’re not tagged, we can’t count you.
Top like-getters will receive
Most likes - 200 additional votes
Second-most likes - 100 additional votes
Third-most like - 50 additional votes
Fourth- and Fifth-most likes - 25 additional votes
June 10
Stitch's Challenge
AWLA alumni and photo calendar favorite Stitch was described by his family as their own "office assistant." In his memory, they will be choosing five registrants who they determine to be the "Most Helpful" to receive 75 additional votes. Votes will be awarded in the evening of June 10 and a note from Stitch's family will be included on their profile page.

Working for the Weekend Challenge
The work-from-home fun doesn’t stop because it’s Saturday. Share your pet’s calendar profile page throughout the weekend. The five registrants who receive the most comments from individual commenters between 8 a.m. on June 13 and 8 p.m. on June 14 will receive additional votes.
Most Comments - 250 additional votes
Second-most Comments - 150 additional votes
Third-most Comments - 100 additional votes
Fourth-most Comments - 50 additional votes
Fifth-most Comments* - 25 additional votes
*Must be comments from individual commenters. Those who comment multiple times on one profile will only be counted once.

At-Home Hobby Challenge
Everyone is picking up new skills and talents these days, and that includes our pets. Show off your pet’s new at-home hobby with a photo or video as a comment on our Facebook post or tweet that kicks off the challenge beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, OR post it on your own Instagram account. It could be a trick, a talent or even an especially adorable snore! The five photos/videos with the most likes by 8 p.m. on June 21 will be awarded extra votes. Make sure you tag #alexworkfromhome so we can follow your likes; if we’re not tagged, we can’t count you.

Our annual photo calendar contest is almost over, but now is your pet’s chance to win the most votes yet. It’s simple; the five entrants who receive the most new votes between 8 a.m. on June 27 and 8 p.m. on June 28 will receive additional votes. As the contest ticks down, now’s your chance to put your pet at the top of the pile!
