Just a few days before we all went into lockdown I was perusing the Alexandria Animal Shelter’s online photos and fell in love with Marley. (Adopted name—previously Loki). He has been the perfect antidote to this lockdown—although 3 years old he is part goofy kitten and part “don’t mess with me” CAT. This photo is of him in my home office chair so I now have to use another chair because he is almost 13 lbs of complete fluff! I had just lost my sweet cat of 19 years (the third cat I have brought home from Alexandria Animal Shelter) the week before and Marley has made me love again!
