Over the last 20 years, Weimaraner Rescue of the South has rescued nearly 1200 Weimaraners and Weimaraner mixes. Working throughout Alabama, Mississippi, and parts of Louisiana, Tennessee, and Georgia, our all-volunteer organization is committed to rescuing and rehoming Weimaraners who find themselves in animal controls, kill shelters, or with owners who can no longer care for them. We provide thorough medical care for all our rescued pups, including spay/neuter, heartworm treatments, vaccinations, and any other necessary treatments. Recently, we have rescued several dogs with extensive health issues and we have spared nothing to get them as healthy and happy as possible.
