Weimaraner Rescue of the South’s 2026 Calendar Contest

Does your Weimaraner have what it takes to make it into our 2026 Calendar? Submit your favorite photo of your pup and let’s find out! Weimaraners are stunningly beautiful dogs and this is your opportunity to share your beloved dog's good looks and charming personality! Each vote costs $1 and all funds in our 2026 Calendar Photo Contest will go toward the needs of the rescue dogs in Weimaraner Rescue of the South's care.

Prizes

The photo with the most votes will win the coveted 2026 Calendar Cover. The top twelve vote getters will be the featured dog for one of the twelve months. Photographs that rank 13 through 24 will be featured in smaller photos in each month. Additionally, all 24 winners will also be featured on Weimaraner Rescue of the South's Facebook page (with over 21,000 followers) as either the cover photo or profile photo for their corresponding month in the calendar.

The top 24 vote getters will also receive a complimentary calendar. Lastly, any photo that receives 200 or more votes will also receive a complimentary calendar, even if they do not finish in the top 24 spots.

Reserve a Day to Honor your Weimaraner!

Want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your Weimaraner. Your dog's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available. Each day is $20.

Rules

Each photograph must include only Weimaraners. The contest is open to all Weimaraners, not only WRS rescued Weimaraners. No other dogs or humans allowed in the photos, please.
Digital photographs must be at least 1600x1200 pixels; photos of lesser resolution cannot be used as they do not produce calendar-quality printed photographs.
WRS has final approval on all photos submitted to our website and/or calendar.
Photos with red eyes or glowing eyes will not be accepted.
Photos with dogs wearing choke, prong, or shock collars will not be accepted.
Submitted photographs become the property of WRS. WRS reserves the right to crop, resize, or edit a photo if necessary.
Photographs may be color, black and white, or sepia toned. No other digital effects will be accepted.
All photos must be uploaded; we cannot accept printed photos.
Photo submission must include:

Name of Dog
Owner's Name
Owner's Email Address
City and State
A paragraph that tells voters something fun or interesting about the dog in the photo. Is this a WRS dog or rescued from another organization? If so, when was it adopted? Share something special that we could include on our calendar if your photo wins.

There is a $5 photo submission fee.
Each vote costs $1.
